Warren Buffet once said, “Learn More to Earn More.” He could never be more right!! As a woman in business, you MUST stay on your grind! Never get complacent. Never think you know it all regardless of how successful you become. If you want to eventually have a 6 or 7 figure business, then learning and investing in resources such as books and coaching is the quickest path to success.

Here are 7 books that every woman in business should read…they have changed my whole business life and helped me quite frankly get my life:

  1. The E-Myth by Michael Gerber

As I struggled to figure out why my business was not going as planned. I ordered this book. At first I wasn’t feeling it because it had a fictional element to it, however, I grew to love this book which taught me what it mean to truly create an “automatic” business that had  “systems” in place so your business could run whether you are present or not. This is a MUST read for all business owners.

  1. Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert D. Cialdini

This book taught me the power of influencing other people. The author has collected tons of research and examples to demonstrate to you why people are influenced and how to influence them which will help you mainly with making sales.

  1. Web Copy that Sells by Maria Veloso

This book reminded me of a textbook because it is so detailed, but it is jam packed with easy to implement tips to make your WRITING on your blog, website, social media, and sales pages eye catching, persuasive, and compelling enough to make people interested in learning from and buying from you. There is a science to it!

  1. Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World by Michael Hyatt

This is a quick, easy read that is full of nuggets of wisdom. Hyatt provides you with step-by-step tools to get noticed in your area of expertise including creating a “wow” product to sell to people.

  1. Book Yourself Solid by Michael Port

This is a MUST read for service providers especially coaches. This book will teach you how to create your ideal client and then create an experience for that client. Once you do so it will help you get “booked” so you consistently work with paying, ideal clients.

  1. Get Rich, Lucky Bitch by Denise Duffield-Thomas

When you are in business you can’t be afraid of MONEY!! Denise’s book will teach you how to overcome your “money blocks” so you can energetically open yourself to feel comfortable being paid what you are worth as a businesswoman.
**I also took her Money Bootcamp course which was beneficial! Her FB group alone will inspire you to step your money game up!

  1. The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks

This book is not specific to business, but it is a great read for when you feel afraid of failing, becoming more successful, or going to the next level in your life and/or business. Hendricks discusses how and why all people should operate from their “zone of genius” which we often get scared to do, however that zone is the only place one can operate in their purpose and run a successful business. Learn how to take the leap now!
